Now we have our standard Halloween decoration set on top of preparing the lanterns. All of them are easy to prepare, and you can do it with your kids.
They are the following:
1. Pumpkins made of paper stripes
They are hanging from our chandellier.

2. A garland of paper pumpkins
Very simple to prepare: after drawing the shape on an orange carton, I cut them out and drew the lines with a brown pen. Then I cut out the eyes and mounths from light yellow thin paper and glued them on the pumpkins. Then glued all of them on a string and fixed the garland on our mantelpiece.

3. Bats made of toilet-paper rolls
The idea came from my 6 year old son, he has designed and (partly) prepared these cute little bats.
How to prepare: First, we cover the toilet-paper rolls with black carton and cut the wings and ears from the same paper. Glue the wings and ears to the right places. For the head, we stuffed an old nylon stocking with and old white sock and tied it on the back and simply stuffed the head into the roll. You can hang the on the chandellier or like us, on the mantelpiece.
