Christmas box - alternative of the wreath

This year, I fell in love with the new fashionable alternative of the Xmas wreath and prepared a box instead. And, to be really trendy, applied a fur cover on the outside.  Trendy and elegant :)

The new life of an old Xmas wreath

I made this Xmas wreath more than 15 years ago for my mom. She liked it so much that every year she dusted it, bought new candles and used it at Christmas. Now they're moving to a new house and we found this wreath, that was for sure ruined by the time. So for their new house, I've decided to renew the wreath for her.

I prepared these flower for garden decoration, from PET bottles, with the help of my 3-year-old daughter.

Pringles boxes vol. 2.

Every now and then we buy Pringles or similar crisps that are sold in boxes, but I always hate to throw away packaging. So I rather collect them and decorate them later on. You can use them for decoration or keep something in them (pencils, piggybank, jewellery, kitchen utensils). It's up to you and your phantasy.

Easter cards made with my kids, even my 3-year-old daughter enjoyed the preparation very much and made 2 of them. Use them for decoration or send them to the grandparents.

 I have also been infected by the Vintage style and when I saw these lace strips and cute little pendants in a shop, I could not resist and knew we will have a romantic Easter this year.

Spring is here! :)

Finally, spring is in the air, and it's time to prepare for Easter. Let's bring inside the awakening nature and decorate our home with spring colours.  Today I brought you a simple idea to create decorations or accessories for the carneval - masks made from paper plates. You can prepare them with your kids and they can make their own versions.

Fancy dress party for small kids - my hand-made costumes

For the carneval season, I prefer to prepare the costumes for my kids, especially when they are small. I believe, when they are really small, the costume has to be as convenient and easy to wear as possible. And my children normally ask for costumes you do not find in the shops, or at least not in their sizes. This is my collection I have prepared during the last few years.
